|09:38 pm - LiveTrumps update|
LiveTrumps updated the card game, so here's my new card, with updated stats:
I also now know where these stats are coming from:
Live Trumps : Attributes
Live Trumps generates cards based on your LiveJournal profile.
In order that people don't try to cheat I won't describe the exact process, but rather give you a flavour for how each stat is generated.
Player numbers are generated sequentially (remotegoat is player one).
cards do not compete on player number
Come come you know this.
cards do not compete on username
This is based on your LJ friends.
This is based on your LJ interests.
The longer it took you to notice your parent's card, and to create your own, the slower your speed.
How many steps you are from the first card created.
A depth five user is remotegoat's great-great-great-grand-child.
This will decrease each time you regenerate your Live Trump card, however you may need to do this to increase your ambiguity.
As it suggests this figure is rather ambiguous in nature.
This shows the number of users who have created a Live Trump Card following the link on your Card.
this number updates automatically, ensure the yellow stat block is not cached to get the latest figures
To create a Live Trump card you must follow a link from an existing Live Trump Card, your parent is the link you followed.
cards do not compete on parent
Total combats the card has won.
cards do not compete on wins
Total combats the card has lost.
cards do not compete on losses
cards do not compete on rank
New cards start at level 0, each time a card defeats a line of level+1 opponents without being interrupted they increase a level.
for example: level 4 cards start each new combat against a depth 4 opponent, their parent, grand-parent and great-grand-parent, you'll need to defeat all of these cards to move to the next level.
There are more than 21,000 cards created now and depth is at 20. Being an "early adopter" means I can now lose when a young whippersnapper challenges me on my depth. Sigh.
Since it was a rather dull day -- hot & humid, with a big thunderstorm in the afternoon -- I played for a while and have progressed to level 9, meaning I have to defeat 9 cards in a row to get to the next level. I think I'll be at this level for a while . . .
The good news is that I have two children cards. :)
