Just read that the Obama administration said Sunday it would seek a law allowing investigators to interrogate terrorism suspects without informing them of their rights.
That's right -- Obama's Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. wants to gut Miranda rights.
Now if Bush or Cheney or anyone from that administration had proposed this, there would have been a collective howl from liberals that could be heard on Alpha Centauri. The words "slippery slope" would certainly have been bandied about, repeatedly and vehemently, in a wave of polemics about the erosion of American civil liberties and protections under the law.
What reaction is there to this bit of news now? Crickets.
Everything depends on whose bull is being gored and who is doing the goring. Everything.
