The 4th Doctor is my favorite and the first Doctor I ever saw, so I'm glad I got him.

I'd still like to try jelly babies, though. I've never had them and I'm curious as to what they're like. I started eating gummi bears when I tried to play at being the Doctor as a child, since they were the closest thing I could find to jelly babies. Don't know how different they may be from the original -- maybe someday I'll get to find out . . .

I'mn ot sure where you are, but I know there are a copuple of places you can get Jelly Babies on Long Island... or COULD,in the past. There's supposed to be a candy Place in Port Jefferson that has a lot of the European imports, and I was able to get them in Glen Cove, but it was quite some time ago. Alternately, if you know anyone vacationing on Bermuda, ask them to stop in a drugstore and bring you back a bag or two. The brand-name is Bassett's, FYI, you might be able to hunt some down online as well, I just did a quick Google search... http://www.englishteastore.com/bajeba60ca.html

They actually have a different texture and different flavors from gummi candies. they use sugar and glucose syrup instad of corn syrup.

Are the black ones licorice-flavoured? If so, I'm likely to agree with Andy, since I adore licorice.
