|10:22 pm - A potable oxymoron|
Just tried the newest variety of Coca-Cola -- Diet Coke Plus.
"Plus what?" one might ask. Plus vitamins and minerals -- according to the label, one 8 ounce serving provides 15% of one's daily requirement of niacin, as well as 15% of B6, 12% of B12, 10% of magnesium and 10% of zinc. Since I drank my usual 20 oz. bottle, I satisfied about a third of my need for these B vitamins and a quarter for those minerals. And it tasted the same as regular Diet Coke, which I guzzle quite a bit of, so I can now feel virtuous while I consume
junk health junk food.

I've been wondering about that stuff ...
I mean, it's great to get vitamins and things, but the ad campaign makes it seem as though it's actually healthy when it is still junk food, really. So, I dunno.
