You scored 55 DE-ness!
|You think Voldemort has the right ideas, but stop short of actually joining his organization. You probably insist shrilly on blood purity among wizards, especially those being chosen for top Ministry or other posts, and have been heard to lament the fact how good blood doesn't count as much as it used to. Funnily enough, you're in the group I think is in the least danger. If the Death Eaters truimph, you will undoubtedly flourish. If the present Ministry wins out, they'll still need people like you to stabilize the situation. But let me leave you with a quote, by Bishop Peter Storey, "Power is a fleeting thing; one day your souls will be required of you." |

One of the things I didn't like about this test had to do with some of the first set of questions. To my mind, they had a very political bent to them (including how against the Iraq war the test-taker is) and seemed to conflate having centrist-right political opinions with being a Death Eater. The implied political equation was Republican = Death Eater and frankly I resent that.
I'm a Republican -- I've been one from the first time I voted back in 1984, when I cast my vote for Ronald Reagan (and quite happily, I might add!), and I've worked for the party as a poll inspector, which is what I was doing the morning of 9/11, which was primary day in New York. While I usually vote for the Republican candidate, I don't always -- I've never voted for a Bush, for example, neither father nor son.
Considering Republicans and those with more conservative leanings to be representatives of Evil Incarnate certainly seems to my mind to be extremely intolerant.
And we all know how tolerant and open-minded the Death Eaters are . . .
Death Eater Rule #23 -- Despite the fact that, as a group, we're dedicated to purity of blood, the Dark Lord would like to remind all of you that he has werewolves, giants, vampires, Dementors, and Inferi in his employ, and all are expected to work with them. The Death Eaters are an equal opportunity organization.

Wow, I didn't know you're a Republican. *g* I'm becoming more and more liberal as I get older, oddly, but I must say that I've always resented the fact that so many people think Republicans would be Death Eaters. So I'm with you on that.
I'm from the more Libertarian wing of the party, although I tend to be rather conservative on quite a few issues. Old-style conservative, that is, not what gets called conservative (but ISN'T!!!) nowadays
. I sometimes get mistaken for liberal, though, because of the company I keep and the fact that I believe government should stay out of people's bedrooms.
